You’re invited! Ingalls invites you and your family to come celebrate your hard work and dedication to building world-class ships at Family Day on Saturday, November 4, 2023

Ingalls wants to show appreciation to shipbuilders and their loved ones by hosting a fun day full of hands-on exhibits, simulations, lunch and a ship tour of Richard M. McCool Jr. (LPD 29). Family Day guests will also receive a free Ingalls t-shirt and each family will take home a special 85th anniversary commemorative poster. Shipbuilders will also be able to vote on the finalists in the 2023 Holiday Card Contest!

Registration is now OPEN for the event! Please make sure to adhere to all regulations to ensure access to this not-to-miss event! 

Who can attend? 

- Current Ingalls shipbuilders, SUPSHIP and Ingalls-badged contractors are invited to attend with up to five guests. Guests must be a citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States.

What do I need to enter? 

- Current HII and active Ingalls shipbuilders, our local customers and Ingalls-badged contractors must complete registration and present their active Ingalls-issued ID badge.

 

- Guests must present a valid form of a government-issued ID for entry (driver’s license or permanent residency card/green card). Copies of IDs/green cards (including virtual copies) will not be accepted.

 

- No skirts/dresses are allowed on the ship tour.

 

- All guests must wear closed-toe shoes.

 

- Personal photography is strictly prohibited inside the shipyard and on the LPD 29 ship. This policy will be enforced.

To enter the event, you MUST present at check-in: (1) confirmation of registration email, and (2) a valid ID (Ingalls-issued badge or driver’s license/lawful permanent residency card).
