Ingalls Shipbuilding hosted the second annual Community Partner workshop, a collaborative day of conversation and resource sharing with community organizations. The program featured a number of nonprofit management experts who provided tips and strategies for strengthening organizations and their ability to provide the resources that make our community stronger. Ingalls presented grants to eight organizations to support their efforts to become stronger, healthier organizations.
“We are committed to being a good partner in this community,” said Lisa Bradley, manager, corporate stewardship and community relations. “One way we do this is to ensure the organizations have the tools they need to do their jobs well, including information and resources that they may not otherwise have access to. Today, we identified new potential partnerships and became even more familiar with organizations with whom we already partner. I believe that we moved the needle today and look forward to the benefits this investment will yield.”
