Ingalls and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC) are partnering to offer shipbuilders the opportunity to invest in themselves through free educational courses. Learn new skills and sharpen existing ones to help grow your career and gain knowledge in a variety of topics.
Registration is now open at the MTA building in Room 1310A (from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.) or you can register by emailing mta@mgccc.edu to begin the enrollment process.
Classes begin on Wednesday, May 1, and are limited to 20 students. Courses vary in length from three to nine weeks and will be held at the Maritime Training Academy (MTA).
These continuing education courses are provided at no cost to shipbuilders. The non-credit classes are offered after hours on a first-come, first-serve basis.

These courses offer every shipbuilder the opportunity to learn skills that can be valuable in their current roles by growing their abilities and providing them with more qualifications to help advance their careers.
